Childbirth can be a transformative event in your life – for better or for worse a woman never forgets her birth experience. It can be an experience that builds your self-esteem, enhances parent-child bonding, and offers you and your partner an opportunity to deepen your relationship.
Birthwell's natural childbirth classes use small class size and individual attention to give pregnant women and their partners a chance to explore their own needs and preferences. The classes will provide you with the tools you need to meet your individual goals for minimizing, postponing or avoiding medical interventions or medications. That's why natural and medical options for pain management and labor management are fully discussed.
- Classes are offered in a warm and supportive environment that respects and trusts women and their ability to birth naturally.
- A lending library offers access to books that inform, while encouraging families to make their own health care choices.
- Six week classes include a free postpartum visit to answer questions and help out with breastfeeding and newborn care.

UPCOMING CHILDBIRTH CLASSES:
Classes meet on six consecutive Tuesday evenings from 7-9pm.
Class dates are:
-Tentative: October 13th, 20th, 27th, and November 3rd, 10th and 17th.
If you are interested in a class but cost is a concern, please contact me and we will find a solution!
Classes take place at The Pink House in Forest Park, (near St. Vincent's Hospital)
